Bitcoin is one of the most popular cryptocurrencies on the financial market. But there are also other digital currencies with significant buying and selling potential that are considered good investment options.
It is a fact that cryptocurrencies are among the most talked about topics on the financial market today. Both price volatility and rapid and significant appreciation make them the subject of discussions among investors around the world, as well as arousing the interest of those who do not yet invest.
Currently, with a virtual cryptocurrency wallet, it is already possible to buy several products online, pay the bill in some restaurants and even place bets in jogo de roleta (as they are called in Brazilian sites) and other actions in sites that already offer the service and accept payment in virtual currencies.
When it comes to numbers, the findings are also very relevant. In a survey by CoinGecko, a platform that compiles data on crypto assets, found that the cryptocurrency market reached, in November 2021, US$ 3 trillion in market capitalization, almost 3 times more than the market value of all companies on the Brazilian stock exchange combined.
In view of all this, we selected the top five virtual currencies with the highest market capitalization value in the current quotation, using the data released by the website “Investing”, referring to the month of June 2022. Here is how the list looks like:
