Pudgy Penguins has confirmed the expansion of its partnership with Walmart. The partnership highlights 1,100 new locations comprising Pudgy Toys and exclusive Walmart collectibles, marking another notable milestone in their joint venture.
Pudgy Penguins introduced Pudgy Toys, a cute collection of physical collectibles inspired by their successful NFT collection, in May 2023. This brand rapidly gained popularity, achieving top seller status on Amazon and getting accolades such as the Toy Insider’s Top Summer Toy award. Following these wins, Pudgy Toys entered 2,000 Walmart stores in September 2023.

Notably, the latest development sees Pudgy Toys’ presence grow to 3,100 Walmart stores across the United States. These new offerings include five exclusive Pudgy figurines and 25 mystery igloos featuring distinct characters. Additionally, every toy integrates a QR code that unlocks interactive features within Pudgy World, and the online gaming world powered by the innovative Layer 2 blockchain, zkSync Era.
The CEO of Pudgy Penguins, Luca Netz, highlighted the firm’s innovative approach, saying:
