The founder of Onlyfans is currently working on a new project. This project is a celebrity-themed NFT Trading Card Platform called “Zoop.” When Tim Stokely unveiled Onlyfans, he began an entirely new movement of democratization of the adult sector. Now, he desires to conquer Web3 with a new NFT project.
Stokely has announced the launch of a Trading Card Platform named Zoop, and the decentralized NFT trading platform will be available for all audiences and will be powered by the Polygon network. Based on an official press release, the new ecosystem will consist of officially licensed digital cards of celebrities and influencers, helped by Zoop’s partnerships with various media enterprises.
However, Zoop is not a one-man project. This platform will be supported by a team of developers who have tested and proven experience in Web3 products.
Zoop To Support The Exchange Of 3D Digital Letters
The founder and co-CEO of Zoop, RJ Phillips, stated that his platform will help users in the process of acquiring and auctioning the cards. He also stated that Zoop will be a major “win for celebrities” and brands since it will bring new methods of interacting with their fans and customers.
“Zoop is the trusted home for authentic celebrity card drops, enabling all fans, regardless of their technical expertise, to participate in the web3.0 space. We hold users’ hands as they compete in acquiring digital collectables in the auction process, show off their holdings to friends, and ‘collect-to connect’ with their favorite celebrities of today and tomorrow.”
Another innovation that Zoop offers is that users can earn rewards subject to their possession. But, it is not yet known what type of rewards will be offered in the Zoop ecosystem for now.
Zoop And Polygon Aim To Accelerate Web3 Expansion
COO of Polygon Studios, Michael Blank, stated that they were ‘thrilled’ to be working with the Zoop developers since the project aligns with Polygon’s targets and mission to push Web3 usage to millions of people. He commented:
“We’re delighted to be working with the Zoop team as they build out their platform on Polygon. Zoop aligns with our mission to bring Web3 technologies to a much broader demographic, and allowing fans to connect to their favorite celebrities via Polygon is another step towards this goal.”
No particular launch date is currently available. Nonetheless, anyone who wants to participate in the pre-launch will have to register and apply for Priority passes that will come with boosted perks and rewards, like real-life prizes and airdrops.
Onlyfans And Censorship
In 2021, Onlyfans sounded some alarms on social networks after it announced a possible ban of all explicit sex on the platform. At the time, the platform attempted to justify itself by alleging that the measure “obeyed the concerns of bankers and investors” just when they wanted to raise more funds.
Such kinds of arguments were not adequate for most enthusiasts, and during that controversy, many decentralized alternatives started coming up.

OnlyFans stands for inclusion and we will continue to provide a home for all creators.

Nevertheless, moments later, the platform said that an agreement was reached with content creators so that they could continue to provide their services without any restrictions.
