The first move in that direction was buying the popular Web3 music-centered marketplace Mint Songs, the team confirmed in a statement. Vlassopoulos stated:
“Garrett and team (at Mint Music) have done groundbreaking work helping thousands of artists get their start in Web3, reach their fans in new creative ways through collectibles, and unlock significant new revenue streams.”

What Is Mint Songs?
In general, Mint Songs is an NFT marketplace that primarily focuses on minting, producing, and trading music collectibles. The platform facilitates artists’ creative process and their means of promoting their artworks as nonfungible tokens.
Due to the innovative concept, Mint Songs raised over $4.3 million in a seed funding round. The round was led by Freestyle Capital and Castle Island Ventures, among others. But, their partnership with Napster is undoubtedly taking the journey to an entirely new level.
