As the Illuvium universe gets ready to unfold, the highly expected blockchain gaming series has confirmed its Beta 4 testing schedule, beginning with Private Beta 4 on April 30, 2024. Accompanying this launch is a pre-registration campaign and the launch of rewarding ‘Play-2-Airdrop’ incentives aimed mainly at refining gameplay ahead of the upcoming official launch.
Starting With Private Beta 4
Private Beta 4, scheduled to run from April 30th to May 28th, 2024, marks a significant milestone in Illuvium’s development journey. During this period, fewer than 10,000 carefully selected players, known as the “lucky rangers,” will have the exclusive opportunity to experience the game’s complete loop on the Testnet. These players are chosen from Illuvium’s active community and through targeted marketing efforts.
The selected players will be tasked with testing crucial features such as passport integration, asset minting, Illuvidex trading, fuel purchasing, and travel mechanics. Their feedback is immensely valuable as it aims to address any major issues and ensure a smooth transition to the Open Beta Testnet phase. Illuvium plans to show appreciation to participants by rewarding them with the initial Airdrop points.

According to Illuvium, gamers who are eager to join the private Testnet and earn Airdrop points need to pre-register on April 15th, 2024. This offers them an exclusive opportunity to play before the Open Testnet Phase starts.
Transition To Open Beta Testnet
After Private Beta 4, the Open Beta Testnet phase is set to begin on May 28, 2024. It will be accessible to all players through the Epic Games launcher, with an anticipated testing duration of 2-4 weeks. This phase plays a vital role in making final adjustments before the public launch, and participants will be eligible for Airdrop Points. A portion of the Play-2-Airdrop $ILV pool, specifically 10%, is earmarked for these Testnet phases, culminating in the initial Airdrop payout at the end of this period.
The shift to the Open Beta Mainnet will eventually culminate in some rigorous stress testing and system evaluation. Allocating the other 90% of the Play-2-Airdrop $ILV pool for that phase, Illuvium strives to keep boosting all four games post-launch, launching new features to enrich the whole player experience.
Play To Airdrop: A Rewarding Experience
Acquiring airdrop points is simple: the more you play, the more points you accumulate across all three games, paving the way for players to partake in the $ILV rewards spread over six months. A forthcoming dashboard will allow participants to monitor their accrued points, streamlining the process as the Open Beta approaches.
With a recent $12 million Series A funding, Illuvium Labs is expected to unleash the interconnected Illuvium Overworld, Illuvium Arena, and Illuvium Zero games. Powered by the Ethereum ecosystem and leveraging the Immutable X network, all these titles promise a new era of interoperable blockchain gaming.
