With their latest venture, grammy-nominated electronic music duo Disclosure is breaking new ground in the music industry. They confirmed the release of 1,000 unique NFTs, each featuring an AI-generated version of their track “Simply Won’t Do” from the “Alchemy” album, which debuted in July 2023. Termed as the Disclosure Bronze Editions, this NFT collection is available on Beatport’s NFT marketplace.
In this innovative partnership, AI works as the guiding force in developing many takes on the track. Moreover, every version, true to Disclosure’s renowned sound, is marked by its unique character and feel.
Exclusive Ownership And Artistic Partnership
Valued at $20 each, the NFTs offer exclusive ownership of a distinct track rendition and guarantee that these versions will never get replicated or released elsewhere. Adding to their immense appeal, each NFT features exclusive artwork from a partnership with Studio Grotesk, a renowned German art collective.
The NFTs use the innovative Bronze AI technology, a generative music engine that reimagines existing music compositions using artificial intelligence. This is not Disclosure’s first investment with Bronze AI; their previous partnership celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album ‘Settle’ with an unlimited mix developed by the same technology.
Exploring New Frontiers In Music
Rising stars in electronic music, Disclosure, featuring Guy and Howard Lawrence, have attracted a global audience with their distinct integration of rhythmic beats, soulful vocals, and engaging soundscapes.
Blending house, garage, and funk, their sound stands out, earning massive praise and a dedicated fan base. Their musical journey started in Reigate, Surrey, where they tested with music production and DJing, inspired by the diverse sounds of funk, and disco.
Having considerably influenced the electronic music space since their emergence in the early 2010s and already winning three Grammy-nominated albums, Disclosure keeps pushing many boundaries.
Their most recent initiative strives to redefine music production and distribution, integrating AI technology with the dynamic NFT market to provide their fans with a distinct and customized music experience.
Music NFTs
NFTs in the music sector offer benefits for musicians and their followers. Artists can use NFTs for new revenue streams and increased rate of fan engagement, selling their music directly as NFTs and circumventing the traditional music industry channels.
On the flip side, fans gain a more customized connection with artists by owning a section of their work and enjoying exclusive perks like early music releases, private events, and special behind-the-scenes access.
