With regards to non-fungible tokens (NFTs), the partnership will issue participants with a ‘Base NFT.’ Since the participants contribute to the brand’s promotion, they get a “Parts NFT” to document their activities. Moreover, those who own both the “Base NFT” and “Parts NFT” will automatically qualify for a “True NFT.” The special token offers extra benefits, including entry to exclusive tasting events and exchangeable tickets for Kuma Shochu.
Complementing the NFT strategy, Kumamoto Prefecture will also host events within the Metaverse via COSMIZE, a metaverse project that is supported by Astar Network. These events are well designed to attract a new and younger audience that shows Minimal interest in shochu.
