The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA), Boston, and LaCollection.io are expected to release a new fine art NFT collection. The nonfungible tokens (NFTs) comprise impressionist pastels by some of the biggest artists of the 19th century, including Monet and Degas.
These paintings, which are owned by the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) themselves, rarely get the opportunity for public viewing. This time around, fine art lovers get a chance to own a piece of history through the NFTs. Even a gorgeous Renoir will feature as part of the new collection.
This NFT collection will consist of art from top painters like Millet, Degas, and Monet. Moreover, they will just exhibit artworks from between 1860 and 1910. Notably, there will be 24 impressionist pastel paintings in total, all of which offer more benefits.
Benefits Of These NFTs
The holders of La Collection x MFA NFTs will gain access to the MFA’s membership programming, exhibition previews, and curator events. Notably, they will also get an invitation to attend a behind-the-scenes viewing of some select pastels in the collection. Which, in most cases, are rarely exhibited.
Then, the holders of many NFTs also get extra rewards. For instance, the people that buy two NFTs will get a third from the same collection. In case you purchase 3 NFTs, you get an even better reward. The holders will get a nonfungible token of one of the two conserved Degas paintings from the Museum of Fine Arts (funded by the MFA).
Eventually, a Secret Box that has one of three chosen pastels will become available to buy alongside the main sale. Degas’ famous “Dancers in Rose” is among the paintings that are set to become NFTs.

If you want to join the presale, applications were made open to all on June 26, and then nonfungible tokens will go live to applications on July 13. Then, the public sale will start on July 14, 2022. Review The MFA X LaCollection.io NFT Exhibition in France
LaCollection.io and the MFA are expected to host a real-life exhibition to show off the fine art NFTs. Notably, the nonfungible token pastel collection will be on display in Monet’s hometown, Giverny in France.
Then, the exciting exhibition will be made open to the public on July 29, 2022. That is not the first event of its kind, with LaCollection having much previous experience with fine art NFTs. There will be 24 impressionist pastel paintings in total, all of which offer more benefits.
With this change in tactic, experts and analysts believe that the exhibition will help fuel the rate of NFT adoption around the world. more real-life use cases are helping merge traditional art with NFTs making it a viable and worthwhile investment in the long term.
